Features:

....Ferrite permanent magnets are fabricated by powder metallurgy method, low remanence and reversibility, high coercion, so they have less action of demagnetizing field and are suitable to dynamic application. Because of their low density, these magnets have a light weight.

....The mechanical property of ferrite magnets is hard and brittle, they can be cut using diamond tools.
....The raw material of sintered ferrite magnet is oxide, so ferrite magnets will not be rusted. Sintered ferrite magnets are available in isotropic magnets and anisotropic magnets. The magnetic properties of isotropic ferrite are low. Since they have nearly the same magnetic properties in all directions, so isotropic ferrite magnets can be magnetized in many different directions or in multi-poles. Anisotropic ferrite magnets have better magnetic properties compare with isotropic ferrite magnets. However this type of magnets can only be magnetized along a preferred direction.
Ferrite magnets include sintered permanent magnets composed of Barium or Strontium Ferrite, and rubber/plastic bonded ferrite magnets from injection molding or mold extrusion .
Sintered ferrite magnets are very hard and brittle ,and require specialized machining techniques .Moreover ,they should be machined in an unmagnetized state .
Rubber bonded ferrite magnet is a permanent magnet composing of fine powder of strontium ferrite,synthetic resin and additives .It can be processed as a sheet ,a roll or any kind of shape and can be coated to have magnetic characteristics or colors .As a matter of fact ,it can be customized according to the requests of the customers ,available in both anisotropic and isotropic grades .

Uses:

Ferrite magnets are suitable used in instrument, meter, electro-acoustic device, micro-motor, duplicating machine, following machine, magnet-medical apparatus.
